We learned very early on that the Hershey Squirts are not exactly the best dodgeball players (see earlier post). But, it didn't stop us. We kept going, and going, and going (poor joke inspired by our team color). The season playoffs were last week - top teams were divided into Varsity playoffs and Junior Varsity playoffs...we made JV. Played our first game at 8pm - riveting performance - and followed it by the game that would determine if we made it to the championships.....
As you can tell by the title of this blog - we won! Championship game is next Thursday...but I won't be able to play :-( It will be the first game I've missed as a Squirt, both football and dodgeball. I'll be en route to visit JFly in Toronto for the weekend!!
